Lights brighten a dark room and it can also attracts your attention. X likes to use lights for her retro theme. One of the kind of lights that she had in mind when she wanted to have a retro look were these: Lava Lamps . (Maybe these lamps will affirm the 60's era.) These lights got her excited. In our minds, these lamps belongs to that era. Anyways, I had found these at Molecule at Marina Square. It cost S$6o each (I guess, it is within her budget.) I remember that there were bigger ones sold somewhere in the island a long time ago.
The second picture is another store (across of Molecule) that sells these lava lamps. Well, there are many shops on the third level selling pretty home decor and housewares (it doesn't sound too exciting for the budgeted). We have big names like Barang Barang, I prefer the one at Holland Village, looks more warming because I never know what I would have found.
