In Asia, ladies wore LV bags like they had arrived. The monograms and the rest which I do not understand their language.
I remembered I had to sit their local store in Takashimaya listening to X's worship to these bags, in my opinion had looked the same, in a different design. Poor me! I wasted an hour looking bored with the sales person bring one bag to another.
According to X, a S$1,5oo bag is considered cheap. She wants to have a collection of these monogram.
Well, she is definiately not alone in these. I saw many young girls strolling in looking like they were in a market looking for these fresh foods. Er, the sales person too, looked like that they were working in a fast food chain, all were armed with walkie-talkies.
I thought that these bags measured status?
Please educate me for the love of these bags. Maybe I just cannot be taught the art of Louis Vuitton.
Maybe this is Marc Jacobs' way of a tribute to his biggest market: Market Bag.
This is bag is used in Asia frequently to carry aloads of stuff and certainly useful when you cannot stuff the items in your luggage. I have one, myself without the logo. Of course!
How about getting these for yourself, X?
Postscript: There is no punk intented for Louis Vuitton, but the silly people who do not appreciate the beauty of Louis Vuitton. Like me.
