Toa Payoh has all the cheap and useful stuff that you can always count. There is outlet called 'Pink', they sell genuine toiletry brands at lower prices. Lovin' it. Examples: Clarins. Shiseido. Biotherm. Kérastase. Redken. Schwarzkopf.
They had rolls of shops that sell affordable glasses or they have the most affordable contact lens there. The competition is so tight there. I believe that there are at least six shops doing the same thing.
Oh yes, there are many, many phone (second hand ones as well) shops. So you need to go there to compare prices.
There are 4 supermarkets. One Shop'N'Save, One Coldstorage and Two NTUC supermarkets.
It is all in great fun. Trust me. It is always crowded there. My opinion: Better than Vivocity (anytime.)
